Pre-Med Advising: Building Your Foundation

Our Pre-Med Advising service is designed to help undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students build a strong foundation for medical school admissions. We provide long-term, personalized guidance that supports students in every area of their pre-medical journey—from academic performance to meaningful extracurriculars.

Academic Planning & Course Selection

We begin with a comprehensive review of the student's academic record, goals, and timeline. Our mentors provide individualized recommendations for pre-med coursework and help students develop a multi-year plan that balances academic rigor with research, volunteering, and leadership opportunities.

MCAT Studying Guidance

Students will receive MCAT preparation resources and studying timeline. We will then assist students in customizing the MCAT study schedule tailored to their timeline, learning preferences, and target scores. Our advisors help students select trusted prep resources, assess progress through full-length exams, and focus on high-yield topics across content areas. Whether the student is studying independently or using a commercial course, we provide accountability and ongoing support to keep them on track.

Research Experience

Research is a critical component of a competitive application. We help students identify research opportunities aligned with their interests—whether in basic science, public health, or clinical research. Our mentors guide students in communicating with faculty, applying to programs, and developing projects that lead to meaningful deliverables such as abstracts, presentations, or publications.

Clinical Experience

Medical schools expect applicants to understand the realities of patient care. We help students find opportunities for shadowing, scribing, hospital volunteering, or working in clinical settings. Our mentors emphasize the importance of reflecting on these experiences and connecting them to a broader understanding of medicine.

Volunteer Engagement

Medical School Consulting: Application Excellence

Our Medical School Consulting service provides step-by-step, expert guidance throughout the medical school application process. Whether you are applying for the first time or reapplying with a stronger strategy, our team of current medical students and seasoned advisors will help you craft a compelling, authentic application that reflects your academic journey, personal growth, and long-term aspirations.

Strategic Positioning & School List Curation

We begin with a full evaluation of your academic metrics (GPA, MCAT), extracurricular profile, and personal background to develop a strategic positioning plan that highlights your unique strengths. We then work closely with you to curate a customized school list based on mission fit, geographic preferences, competitiveness, and likelihood of success.

AMCAS Application Guidance & Extracurricular Descriptions

The AMCAS application is your first opportunity to present your accomplishments with clarity and impact. We guide you through the entire platform—from entering coursework to compiling your list of experiences. We help you draft compelling, well-structured activity descriptions and thoughtfully select your "Most Meaningful" entries. Our team will also assist you in identifying patterns and themes across your experiences to unify your application.

Personal Statement Development

Your personal statement is the heart of your application. Through in-depth conversations, we help you explore formative experiences, personal values, and key turning points in your journey to medicine. Together, we will brainstorm multiple approaches, select a resonant theme, and outline your statement with clear narrative flow. We guide students in crafting strong hooks, weaving introspection throughout the essay, and concluding with purpose and clarity. Multiple rounds of detailed feedback ensure the final piece is polished and authentic.

Secondary Application Coaching

With dozens of essays due in a short time frame, secondaries can feel overwhelming. We help you stay organized with a school-specific strategy, assist in prioritizing deadlines, and guide the brainstorming and outlining process for each prompt. We coach students to personalize responses using each school's unique programs, mission, and values—helping your essays stand out through specificity and insight. All essays are reviewed with multiple rounds of edits to elevate clarity and impact.

Mock Interview Preparation (MMI & Traditional)

We provide mock interviews simulating both traditional and MMI formats, tailored to the schools on your list. You'll receive personalized feedback on content, structure, tone, and professionalism. Our coaching includes strategies for handling behavioral questions, ethical scenarios, "tell me about yourself" responses, and school-specific inquiries—so you're prepared to enter each interview with confidence and clarity.

Letters of Recommendation Strategy

We work with you to identify and approach the right faculty, research mentors, supervisors, or clinicians for strong, personalized letters. We help you craft outreach emails, provide guidance on creating a letter portfolio, and support you in communicating your goals and accomplishments to recommenders. If needed, we also assist with submitting letters through Interfolio or AMCAS.
